Illinois High School Softball - Joliet Catholic sneaks past Minooka

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Minooka Indians.
The Hilltoppers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers come into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Coal City was nipped by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 13-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South match, on Thursday, April 3. Minooka will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
