The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions (Caldwell, NJ) and the visiting Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ), observed Mount St. Dominic Academy's softball team get by Livingston by a tally of 7-6.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Red Bank Catholic tipped Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ), 9-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 5. Livingston will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, NJ).
