In Thursday's league test, the Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Selma Saints (Selma, AL), by a tally of 19-4.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL) in a 5A Area 7 test, on Tuesday, April 8. Montevallo will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 3-6 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL).

The Saints (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Dallas County (Plantersville, AL). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record.
