The Neville Tigers softball squad (Monroe, LA), was routed 7-3 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA)

With the triumph, Ruston improves its record to 9-14 on the year. The Bearcats host Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA) to face the Lions in a 5A District 2 contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 15-12.

The Tigers now hold a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Haughton for a non-league contest on Friday, April 4. Neville will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 14-13.
