In Thursday's non-league test, the Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), by a tally of 17-1.
Next, the Wolves clash with the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles (Youngsville, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 9. Rayne will attempt to advance on its 6-15 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-9 record after their 5-0 non-league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA).
The Vikings (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA). The Trailblazers go into the non-league test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, Lake Charles College Prep was routed by South Beauregard (Longville, LA), 21-0, in a league test.
