In Friday's league game, the visiting Gorman Panthers baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Eula Pirates.
The Panthers (4-10) will now prepare for their game against May (May, TX). The Tigers come into the 2A Region I District 7 match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, May tipped Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX), 11-1, in a league match.
The Pirates now have a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross Plains for a 2A Region I District 7 match on Tuesday, April 7. Eula will battle a Buffaloes squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to May (May, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-3.
