The Hackett Hornets baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Westside Rebels to 3 in the Hornets league win on Friday.

The Hornets now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danville for a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 7. Hackett will play a Little Johns team coming off a 9-3 league win over Acorn (Mena, AR). The Little Johns record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Westside drops to 3-6 on the year. The Rebels travel to Hector (Hector, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 7. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-5.
