The Brewer Patriots softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Decatur Red Raiders to 5 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Morgan for a non-league battle on Friday, April 3. Brewer will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Brewer (Somerville, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Decatur falls to 3-17 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Austin (Decatur, AL) to play the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 4.
