Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT), 15-1 in a league test.
With the win, Avon Old Farms upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Beavers host Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY) to battle the Pride in a Founders test on Wednesday, May 4. The Pride come into the test with a record of 5-7. Trinity-Pawling School lost 17-6 in their recent non-league test against Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT)
With the defeat, Taft School falls to 5-7 on the season. The Big red host Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT) to battle the Pelicans in a Founders test on Wednesday, May 4. The Pelicans come into the test with a record of 8-2.
