The University Liggett Knights baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Brother Rice Warriors to 1 in the Knights league victory on Saturday.
The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors go into the Catholic Central match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Brother Rice was overwhelmed by University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI), 6-2, in a league match.
The Warriors (4-5) will now prepare for their match against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights go into the Catholic C-D C match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, University Liggett tipped Catholic Central (Novi, MI), 6-3, in a league match.
