Nevada High School Baseball - Spring Creek loses to Fernley

The Spring Creek Spartans baseball team (Spring Creek, NV), was overwhelmed 21-9 in Saturday's league outing with the host Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV)

The Vaqueros now hold a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elko for a 3A North - East outing on Friday, May 6. Fernley will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Indians record now stands at 6-20.

Next, the Spartans confront the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A North - East outing, on Friday, May 6. Spring Creek will attempt to advance on its 11-12 season record. The Greenwave go into the outing with a 14-5 record after their 6-2 league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
