Jacksonville Golden Eagles (Jacksonville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Jacksonville upgrades its record to 17-10 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Friday, May 6. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 20-11. Etowah won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Westminster Christian (Huntsville, AL)

With the defeat, Madison County falls to 18-11 on the season.
