The Sutherland Knights got by the host Mendon Vikings baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brockport for a Section 5 Monroe County III bout on Monday, May 2. Sutherland will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Spencerport (Spencerport, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-5.
Next, the Vikings face the Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County III bout, on Monday, May 2. Mendon will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Braves enter the bout with a 7-6 record after their 4-2 league loss to Greece Athena (Rochester, NY).
