Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ), saw Mountain Ridge's baseball squad edge Mountain View by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Mountain Lions play the Chandler Wolves (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 20-6 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 23-6 record after their 11-1 league win over Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
