The Platte Valley Broncos baseball team (Kersey, CO), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Saturday's league outing with the host Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO)
The Tigers now hold a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Common for a 3A Patriot outing on Tuesday, May 3. Sterling will confront a Eagles team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
Next, the Broncos confront the Fort Lupton Bluedevils (Fort Lupton, CO) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 2. Platte Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Bluedevils go into the outing with a 8-6 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Jefferson (Edgewater, CO).
