The Sandia Matadors baseball team scored 21 runs and limited the host West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Matadors league victory on Saturday.
The Matadors (18-6) will now prepare for their match against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs go into the 5A District 2 match with a 9-12 record. In their last match, West Mesa was overwhelmed by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 17-6, in a league match.
The Mustangs (9-14) will now prepare for their match against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the 5A District 2 match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Sandia gained a win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 6-2, in a league match.
