Illinois High School Volleyball - Elgin edged by St. Edward

The St. Edward Green Wave volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Elgin Maroons to 1 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Saturday.

The Green Wave now have a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marmion for a non-league game on Saturday, April 30. St. Edward will meet a Cadets team coming off a 2-0 league win over DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Cadets record now stands at 2-9.

The Maroons (5-20) will now prepare for their game against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, West Chicago was nudged by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
