Ohio High School Volleyball - Firestone over Villa Angela-St. Joseph

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH) and the host Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings (Cleveland, OH), saw Firestone's volleyball squad beat Villa Angela-St. Joseph by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Firestone upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Falcons travel to Hudson (Hudson, OH) to play the Explorers in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 30. The Explorers go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Hudson won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH)

The Vikings now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Medina for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 5. Villa Angela-St. Joseph will play a Battling Bees squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Westerville Central (Westerville, OH). The Battling Bees record now stands at 6-9.
