The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), saw Lockport's volleyball squad nip Lincoln-Way East by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lockport upgrades its record to 20-4 on the year. The Porters travel to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to play the Warriors in a Southwest Suburban bout on Tuesday, May 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 17-12.

The Griffins now own a 23-6 record. They play next when they host Maine South for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 30. Lincoln-Way East will play a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 13-8.
