Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA), 8-4 in a non-league battle.
The Whalers now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandwich for a battle on Tuesday, May 3.
In their next game, the Vineyarders clash with the Fairhaven Blue Devils (Fairhaven, MA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 9. Martha's Vineyard Regional will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
