The Connell Eagles softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Toppenish Wildcats to 16 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Connell moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, May 6. The Bears come into the game with a record of 1-1. Kiona-Benton won 13-5 in their recent non-league game against Granger (Granger, WA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 4. Toppenish will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Leopards come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Wapato (Wapato, WA).
