In Saturday's non-league test, the host Berkshire School Bears lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Trinity-Pawling School Pride.
The Bears now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frederick Gunn for a Nepsac test on Monday, May 2. Berkshire School will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Canterbury School (New Milford, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-2.
The Pride (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Taft School (Watertown, CT). The Big Red go into the Founders match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Taft School nudged Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 17-5, in a league match.
