Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), 12-11 in a league battle.
The Crusaders now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mount St. Charles Academy for a Division 2 battle on Tuesday, May 3.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 4. Chariho will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 16-4 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI).
