Somers Spartans (Somers, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), 20-6 in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 3. Somers will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Newington (Newington, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 2. Holy Cross will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record.
