New York High School Softball - Wallkill can't get by Beacon

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) softball team held off the visiting Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, Beacon moves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Monticello (Monticello, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league contest on Monday, May 2. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 1-4. Monticello lost 26-1 in their recent league contest against Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY)
In their next game, the Panthers play the Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY) in a Mid Hudson Athletic contest, on Monday, May 2. Wallkill will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 22-7 league loss to Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY).
