In Saturday's non-league contest, the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), by a margin of 13-5.

With the triumph, Breckinridge County moves its record to 12-12 on the year. The Fighting Tigers host Hancock County (Lewisport, KY) to play the Hornets in a District 11 contest on Monday, May 2. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 14-2. Hancock County won 9-1 in their recent non-league contest against Perry Central (Leopold, IN)

In their next game, the Cougars play the Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY) in a District 12 contest, on Monday, May 2. Grayson County will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 6-12 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Breckinridge County (Harned, KY).
