Dexter Dreadnaughts (Dexter, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Dreadnaughts now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pioneer for a Southeastern - Red challenge on Monday, May 2.

With the loss, Pinckney falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
