The York Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Fryeburg Raiders to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, York moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Freeport (Freeport, ME) to play the Falcons in a Class B South game on Monday, May 2. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 3-1. Freeport lost 16-0 in their recent league game against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME)
In their next game, the Raiders play the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a Class B South game, on Tuesday, May 3. Fryeburg will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.
