In Saturday's league contest, the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) softball team overwhelmed the host Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Monroe County moves its record to 8-24 on the year. The Falcons travel to Clinton County (Albany, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, May 2. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 9-16. Clinton County lost 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Todd County Central (Elkton, KY)

In their next game, the Scotties play the Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 2. Glasgow will attempt to move on its 16-13 season record. The Colonels come into the contest with a 16-17 record after their 17-2 league loss to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY).
