The Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) softball routed the host Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), 19-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the Shore A - Central bout with a 6-9 record. In their last bout, Shore Regional was routed by Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ), 15-5, in a league bout.
The Green Wave now possess a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Marlboro for a non-league bout on Monday, May 2. Long Branch will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-6.
