The Midland Timberwolves softball team (Varna, IL), was routed 14-2 in Saturday's league test with the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL)

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 2. Putnam County will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Princes come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Delavan (Delavan, IL).

The Timberwolves (0-21) will now prepare for their test against Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Crusaders come into the Tri-County test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Marquette was routed by Serena (Serena, IL), 8-0, in a non-league test.
