In Saturday's league outing, the host Sheridan Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Pine Bluff Zebras.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 2. Sheridan will attempt to upgrade on its 24-6 season record. The Miners enter the outing with a 31-6 record after their 11-1 league win over De Queen (De Queen, AR).

The Zebras (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR). The Rams enter the 5A South outing with a 7-21 record. In their last outing, Lakeside was routed by Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
