Texas High School Softball - Veterans Memorial bounces Rowe

Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 24-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Grande City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. Veterans Memorial will battle a Rattlers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 20-8.

With the loss, Rowe falls to 22-13 on the campaign.
