Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Chiefs now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Adirondack for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Monday, May 2.

With the loss, Saranac Lake falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Red storm travel to Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY) to face the Eagles in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Monday, May 2. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
