In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Cisne Runnin' Lions baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Webber Trojans.
The Runnin' Lions (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 6-16 record. In their last game, Woodlawn was overwhelmed by Goreville (Goreville, IL), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (6-11) will now prepare for their game against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL). The Indians go into the Midland Trail game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Wayne City was overwhelmed by Waltonville (Waltonville, IL), 10-0, in a league game.
