With the win, Eastern Guilford upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to encounter the Camels in a Mid-State 3A challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Camels come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Atkins won 19-3 in their recent league challenge against High Point Central (High Point, NC)

With the defeat, Southern Guilford falls to 8-15 on the season.
