Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Red River upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Roughriders host East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN) to battle the Green Wave in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 7-0. East Grand Forks won 11-6 in their recent league test against Thief River Falls (Thief River Falls, MN)

With the defeat, Wahpeton falls to 2-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND) to battle the Mustangs in a Class A - East Region test on Saturday, May 4. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 5-3.
