The East Providence Townies held off the visiting Westerly Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Townies now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woonsocket for a non-league test on Thursday, May 2. East Providence will confront a Villa Novans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Villa Novans record now stands at 1-4.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their test against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record.
