Utah High School Volleyball - Wasatch edged by Maple Mountain

The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles held off the host Wasatch Wasps volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Golden Eagles now have a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Valley for a 5A Region 7 test on Thursday, May 2. Maple Mountain will confront a Aviators team coming off a 3-0 league win over Springville (Springville, UT). The Aviators record now stands at 11-13.

The Wasps (12-8) will now prepare for their game against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks go into the 5A Region 7 contest with a 10-14 record. In their last contest, Salem Hills edged Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
