The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) and the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), saw East Gaston's soccer squad triumph over Burns by a count of 8-0.

The Warriors now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Bessemer City for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, May 2. East Gaston will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Burns drops to 8-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Rams in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, May 7. The Rams come into the test with a record of 11-4.
