The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) and the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), saw East Duplin's soccer squad get by Southwest Onslow by a count of 3-2.
The Panthers now hold a 14-5 record. They play next when they host East Bladen for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1. East Duplin will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Southwest Onslow drops to 9-6 on the season. The Stallions travel to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 12-3. West Carteret won 1-0 in their recent league test against Richlands (Richlands, NC)
