In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Union Pines Vikings soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Southern Lee Cavaliers.
The Vikings (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the Sandhills 3A/4A battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Pinecrest notched a victory over Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Cavaliers (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets go into the Sandhills 3A/4A battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Lee County notched a victory over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
