Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA), 23-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Spokane for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Mead will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-4 non-league loss to University (Spokane, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Gonzaga Prep falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bullpups host Cheney (Cheney, WA) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Cheney won 19-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA)
