The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) and the visiting Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), saw Cannon's lacrosse team top Providence Day by a margin of 16-7.

The Cougars (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks enter the NCISAA - Division I challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Charlotte Latin beat Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC), 8-5, in a league challenge.

The Chargers (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Buccaneers enter the NCISAA - Division I challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Charlotte Country Day School beat Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC), 10-6, in a non-league challenge.
