Virginia High School Soccer - Halifax County knocks off George Washington

Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets confront the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Friday, May 3. Halifax County will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 5-0 league loss to Bassett (Bassett, VA).

The Eagles now possess a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Magna Vista for a Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, May 7.
