Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cyclones now have a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Camden Military for a SCISA AAAA Region II challenge on Thursday, May 2. Porter-Gaud will confront a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC). The Spartans record now stands at 4-8.
