Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host Venture Academy for a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge on Monday, May 6. Big Valley Christian will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 22-2 league loss to Stone Ridge Christian (Merced, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Venture Academy falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Stone Ridge Christian (Merced, CA) to battle the Knights in a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Stone Ridge Christian won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Millennium (Tracy, CA)
