Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bloom for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Lincoln-Way West will face a Blazing Trojan squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Blazing Trojan record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, Bradley-Bourbonnais falls to 17-7 on the campaign. The Boilermakers host Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to face the Knights in a SouthWest Suburban challenge on Thursday, May 2. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 21-4. Lincoln-Way Central won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL)
