In Tuesday's league contest, the Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), by a margin of 10-3.
With the triumph, Brearley moves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Bears travel to Union (Union, NJ) to play the Farmers in a UCC - Mountain contest on Thursday, May 2. The Farmers come into the contest with a record of 2-11.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers play the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 1. Summit will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ).
