Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) and the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), witnessed East Peoria's softball squad tip Canton by a count of 14-8.

The Raiders now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Normal University for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 1. East Peoria will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Canton moves to 7-11 on the season. The Little giants host Washington (Washington, IL) to meet the Panthers in a Mid-Illini match on Wednesday, May 1. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 8-10. Washington lost 11-6 in their recent league match against Pekin (Pekin, IL)
